Sticks & Stones

Matthew Hayden's recent comments when asked how he thought the Australians would fair in the Ashes have yet again proved he is a good cook, was a better than average Saturday afternoon slogger and a complete goose in commentary.
His leading assertion that the Englishmen have been hiding in their preparation was another breath taking statement which bore no resemblance to the facts but such is the way of Flat Track Bully. He was the man that turned cleverly thought out psychology into aggressive verbal abuse and found a way to blame his victims.
England has hidden during the winter by flogging Pakistan ... the same Pakistan Australia struggled to a drawn series with. England has hidden by refusing up-country games in Western Australia and instead playing three first class matches in the space of fifteen days, winning two handsomely and drawing the other. The last, against the best young players Australia has, saw them crush most of our young batsmen with their B attack and completely dominate our young bowlers.
The funniest part of this orchestrated attack by former players (Border, Langer, Hayden just to name three) is, a) it's like water off the Englishmen back; and b) it's the only seemingly orchestrated part of the Australian campaign! Sticks and stones ...
